The Urban Ministry and Theology Project works in partnership with local theological education providers to deliver modules on urban theology. At present there are two taught modules.
Theology in the City: Regeneration in the Urban Context
This module is taught as part of the MA in Theology and Ministry delivered by Crammer Hall in partnership with Durham University, the Wesley Study Centre and Ushaw College. Sessions are held in the locality of Byker and Walker and students take part in visits to regeneration projects supported by the local churches. The module is usually available in the autumn term and may be audited by those who are not part of the MA course.
